A hand-knotted Persian Chahar Mahal Bakhtiari room-size rug. This rug has two expansive floral medallions in an abrashed palette of navy, burgundy, rose, and cream. The medallions are highlighted by several mirrored floral motifs throughout over a brick red ground leading to hooked spandrels. The compound border features bold floral shapes and a minor sawtooth border finished with dark gray selvedge and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
