Item Details

An antique Ansonia cast iron mantle clock with lion head ornamentation. This clock features gold curled line etchings to the front, a lion head to each side holding a gold toned metal ring in its mouth, and ornate claw feet. The clock has a white face, black roman numerals, and is framed by a gold toned metal plate. The clock works are marked ‘Ansonia Clock Company / New York / Patented June 13, 1882’.
