Item Details
An oil painting on canvas, titled Parade. This painting depicts swirls and spatters of black, yellow, red and white paint across an earthen toned background. The layering process is reminiscent of Jackson Pollock’s Abstract Expressionist style. The unsigned work is presented under glass beneath matting in a silver tone wooden frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and handwritten information regarding the work, including an illegible artist signature.
Condition
- dirt and stains between glass and white mat throughout; nicks and scratches to frame; paper backing torn with painted residue, held together with tape.
