A The Hand of God after Rodin resin sculpture reproduction. The piece depicts a hand supporting several indistinct figures grouped together. The piece comes with a wooden base marked on the base ‘Authorized Copyrighted Reproduction made from the original at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor.’ Augustus Rodin (1840-1917) was a French sculptor often credited with influencing modern sculpture. Some of his most famous pieces include The Thinker, The Age of Bronze and The Kiss.
Condition
wear consistent with age and use, has become detached from the wooden base.
