A collection of six antique botanical engravings created from 1828-33 by very well-listed German botanist Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck (1776 – 1858) for publication is his collection Plantae officinales: Plantae medicinales oder Sammlung offizineller Pflanzen. The prints included are titled Saponaria officinalis, Sinapis alba., Petroselinum sativum Hoffm., Myroxylon peruiferum Lin., Rheum palmatum Lin., and Dorstenia brasiliensis Lam. The prints’ titles are printed to their lower margins. The pieces are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
