Antique Capodimonte Porcelain Cherub Figurines

Item Details

A pair of antique Capodimonte porcelain cherub figurines, seated on animals. The winged cherub is donning a fuchsia fabric wrap, is playing a horn and is seated, sideways on the back of a cat. The other, is on the back of a seated dog, is wearing blue, and playing two cymbals. Both on oval bases, they are marked to the underside with crown and ‘N’ below, indicating manufacture in the Naples factory dating from 1771-1834
