A 1981 limited edition offset lithograph print on paper after a 1974 painting by listed Texas artist Robert Summers (b. 1940) titled First Visit. The piece depicts an early 20th-century courtship scene between a cowboy and a young woman. They are shown conversing near a fallen tree against a rural evening Texas landscape, with a small cabin set to the background. The image is dated and signed in plate to the lower right, with a signature in dark red ink to the lower left. It is additionally numbered to the lower left as 1162 out of an edition of 1500. The print was published by American Masters Foundation, Inc. of Houston, Texas; it includes an ‘Affidavit of Limited Edition’ from the company with information about the print and edition. The print is presented unframed.
