An etching on paper by listed American artist Ernest Christian Rost (1867 – 1940), published by Fishel, Adler and Schwartz in New York. This piece depicts several cabins in a stark winter landscape, with smoke curling out of their chimneys. A horse drawn wagon travels the road before them. This piece is signed in the plate to the lower right, and in graphite to the lower right margin. Publishing information is printed to the upper left. Presented behind a white mat, under glass in a stained wood frame. A hanging wire is present to the verso.

- print is buckled. Foxing to print. Toning to print and mat. Abrasions and wear to finish of frame.
