An ink and wash on deckle edge paper portrait of Kenworth Moffett by Barbara Swan, executed in 1976. Depicted is a seated Moffett with glasses and a suit on. Swan and Moffett were coworkers at Wellesely College at the time of the portrait. The work is presented under glass in a wood frame.

Barbara Swan graduated from Wellesley College in 1943 with a B.A. in Art History, then studied painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts until 1948. She has been associated with the Boston Expressionist School. Swan taught art classes at Wellesley in the mid 1970s where she first met Kenworth Moffett, who taught at Wellesley College between 1968 and 1979.
