An acrylic painting on canvas titled Hotina by New New painter Gérard Paire, executed in July of 1999. Fusions of pink, yellow, and white melt together bearing a slight resemblance to Helen Frankenthaler’s stained canvases in the same way their rich pinks, golds, and whites fuse into one another in a lustrous appearance.
Member of the New New Painters, a group of artists first brought together by the first curator of modern and contemporary art at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Dr. Kenworth Moffett in 1978.
