Vintage Lane Cedar Chest

Item Details

A vintage cedar chest by Lane Furniture. This long piece has a lift top lid over a simple body, raised on ogee bracket feet. It has a decorative oval piece to the center, with curved decorative corbels on the front sides. It has a brass lined escutcheon in the front. The finished exterior shows the wood grain in a rich reddish brown. The interior is unfinished, and bears the Lane mark.
This chest is not part of the Aroma-tite line, and thus does not have airtight closure or recalled automatic lock.

Condition

- Scratches and wear to finish throughout.
- Crack to the floor of chest in back right corner.
- Handles missing

- This chest is not part of the Aroma-tite line, and thus does not have airtight closure or automatic lock.
