An oil painting on panel titled Autumn Palette by beloved artist DeVere Burt. This painting depicts a cardinal perched on a grouping of rocks by a stream. It is signed ‘Burt 2000’ to the lower right and presented in a rustic wood frame. DeVere Burt held the position of President and CEO of the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History before pursuing his passion for painting. In 2000 he founded Masterworks for Nature, bringing together acclaimed artists to help raise money and awareness for wildlife education and management. To date Masterworks has raised over 1 million dollars for various projects across the Midwest.
