An mixed media painting on unprimed fabric of figures by French artist Maurice Michael Lode. This work is rendered in painterly green and orange, depicting a pair of figures with calm expressions on their faces. The work is inscribed to the upper and lower margins, reading in part, ‘Je me peface mes couleurs en motion de mes moments de doute.’ The piece is signed by hand to the lower margin and is mounted in a slim black frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

- paint is bleeding through to back of fabric; wear to frame.
