An original watercolor with gouache highlights by well listed artist, Clarence W. Sorenson (1906 – 1974). The piece features a country sunrise scape, with groups of people in shadow, walking along a dirt road to morning church service. The dark greens and silhouettes are enhanced by the warm shades in the distant sky. The image is painted on watercolor paper that has been mounted to board, and is presented in a gold tone wood frame. Signed by the artist to the lower right.
