Item Details
A collection of humorous chalkware wrestling figurines. These pieces were created by Lafayette Laso Rittgers. This vintage assortment features a bald wrestler standing with one arm behind his back and a downcast expression on his face. Also offered is a tangled wrestling figurine with a down turned mouth and crossed eyes, as well as a short older man clad in a gray outfit with his hands on his hips and a stern open mouthed expression on his face. The figurines are marked ‘Rittgers, 1941’.
Condition
- some nicks and paint is chipped; sticker residue on chest of standing wrestler.
