William Auerbach-Levy Oil Painting on Canvas of Boats

An oil painting on canvas of boats by listed artist William Auerbach-Levy (1889 – 1964). This work depicts a cluster of four wooden boats dry docked on a sloped, sandy shore, which overlooks a house on stilts and calm water to the distance. Found to the lower left corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a cream wooden frame with a linen and gold tone liner with hanging wire to the verso.

- edge wear to frame; staining and wrinkles to backing board.
