An antique French carved walnut sofa. This walnut sofa is a stylized find de siècle interpretation of a Louis VX sofa. The moulded and carved triple back is composed of two heart shaped backs set below an raised oval centered back carved above and below with pierced rococo motifs. The center of the skirt and the lower arms are carved with stylized foliage, as are the tops of the scrolled cabriole legs. This sofa is upholstered in a mottled black and gray crushed velvet.
