An antique Victorian silver plated wristlet purse. It features an openwork silver plate purse heavily embellished with granulated scrollwork, faceted blue glass stones in bezel settings, and applied floral details in gold and silver-tone finishes. It is hinged at the bottom and opens to reveal a fabric interior with elastic pockets. The compact hangs from a metal link chain. The piece is marked ‘Quality Plate’ near the hinge.
