A decorative pheasant tureen and ceramic platter from the Autumn Bounty Collection by Fitz and Floyd Classics, which ran from 1996-1999. The set includes a colorful ceramic pheasant with a brightly painted body and tail that doubles as the serving ladle. The pheasant appears to be comfortably perched in a large basket of fall fruit, vegetables, and flowers. The tureen is paired with an oval shaped platter from the same collection. This complementary piece features a woven basket-style design bordered by an array of fruit, botanicals, and vegetables to the edge. It is finished with basket style handles to either side. The pieces are each marked to the bottom and are presented in their original boxes and packaging.
