A hand-knotted Moroccan Boujad wool area rug. This rug features a pale mint green field with an elaborate medallion showing floral palmettes, foliate motifs, and checkered like details, surrounded by smaller medallions at each corner along with arrow and floral motifs. This unique rug offers a pastel palette of mint, lavender, rose, and yellow, along with ivory, and black. The rug is finished with multiple overcast selvedges, with extended natural warp to the ends, one with a braided trim, and the other with a braided fringe. Unmarked.

Condition

- Condition is consistent with age and shows signs of staining, a small hole and wear from regular use. Could benefit from a cleaning.
