Item Details
A handwoven tribal area rug. This intricately woven piece, likely made in North Africa, features a chevron pattern consisting of two large panels that have been sewn together at a V angle. Each panel features a lattice of small polygons in a palette of ivory, midnight blue, indigo, crimson, vermillion, and mustard. The field is framed by compound borders. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with blue braided warp fringe.
