An oil painting on canvas by Fabré. The still life piece depicts a glass vase overflowing with colorful flowers rendered in short expressive strokes of red, yellow, green, blue, cream and orange hues. The work is signed in black paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a carved off-white wooden frame with a cream linen liner to the front, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- stretcher marks and small indentation visible to canvas at upper right; stains and discoloration to fabric liner; minor wear and scuffing to frame; no backing paper present.
