B.R. Nolte Oil Painting of a Forest Lake
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a forest lake by an artist signing the work B.R. Nolte. This painterly work presents the glassy water in a palette of yellow and blue, a feathery wall of trees to its far banks. A collection of lilly pads and grasses can be seen in the water to the foreground of the work, with a signature visible to its lower right. This piece is mounted in a carved frame and has a wire to its verso for hanging.

- general wear to frame; diagonal cuts to upper and lower edges of frame; two significant holes toward center of painting’s lower edge.
