Item Details
A pair of oil paintings by a John Torres, one on canvas and one on canvas board. The painting on canvas depicts a terracotta pot with pink and white flowers growing among large leaves on a white ground, with a faint reflection on the surface below it. It is signed to the lower right, dated ‘86’, and presented as an unframed canvas. The second piece depicts two pink flowers with thin leaves on a brown ground. It is signed to the lower right corner and dated ‘76’. This piece is presented in a wood frame with wire for hanging.
Condition
- general wear to edges of canvas without frame; foxing and dirt pockets on verso of canvas; canvas board in frame is coming loose; general wear to frame.
