An original 1946 watercolor painting on paper by an artist named George Beyer, possibly the listed Minnesotan artist George Beyer (1900 – 1985). The painting depicts a closely-cropped view of a dense forest filled with tall grasses, twisting branches, and layers of dense leaves and foliage. A small dirt path cuts through the scene. The painting is signed and dated to the lower right. It is mounted to foam core backing and wrapped in acetate for safekeeping, and is presented without matting or framing.
