An oil painting on canvas of a bird by artist Eleanor T. Whitesides. This painting depicts an Eastern Bluebird perched on a nest situated between thin branches. It comfortably holds a collection of small, pale blue eggs. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a bronze tone wooden frame with moulded acanthus leaf patterning to the surface and hanging hardware to the verso.

- nicks and scratches to frame; would benefit from dusting; painted residue to frame verso.
