This collection of seven pre-war Lionel standard gauge train cars features a tinplate No. 8E locomotive marked ‘lionel’ and ‘No 8E’ to the side and ‘Lionel super-motor for standard track’ to the underside. Additional cars include a number twelve type IV gondola car marked ‘Lake Shore’, ‘65784’ and ‘capacity 60000 weight 34500 length inside 36 ft M.C.B. Couplers air brake’ to the side, a number thirteen green cattle car marked ‘Made in U.S.A. The Lionel Corporation New York 13’ to the underside, a number fourteen type X boxcar marked ‘UM&STP 98237’ to the side, a number 15 oil car marked ‘Lionel Lines’ and ‘no 515’ to the side, a number sixteen ballast car marked ‘N.Y.N.H & H.R.R. capacity 50000 lbs weight 30000 lbs’ to the side and a number seventeen type XII caboose marked ‘NYC & HRR 4351’ to the side.
