An assortment of Recent bivalve mollusk fossil specimens. This assortment of more than twenty specimens of Recent fossil bivalve mollusks features shells of the abolone genus Haliotis with the exterior layer peeled off to show the inner nacreous layer. Also included are several specimens of the scallop genus Pecten. The specimens are presented in a wicker basket. No collection locality information is available for these specimens.
