Set of Three Vintage Painted Porcelain Plaques Including Gerold Porzellan
Item Details
A set of three vintage hand-painted porcelain plaques. Featured are two Bavarian Gerold Porzellan elliptical painted plaques including a portrait of a child signed ‘M. Buckley’ in black paint to the lower center, as well as an unsigned portrait of a Native American figure in side profile. Both are marked ‘Gerold Porzellan, Bavaria, Made in W. Germany’ to the verso. Also featured is a similar plaque depicting a woman in a sheer white blouse looking over her shoulder, set against a cloudy blue and pink background; it is signed ‘MB’ to the verso.
Condition
- minor scratching, markings and wear; light scuffing to verso of each; no hanging hardware present.
