A collection of three hand-colored metzographs on paper of Roman architecture and landscapes, made by Bayot after a drawning by Phillipe Benoist, Felix Benoist, Sabatier, and Eug. Ciceri. These prints feature architecture from different historical site around Rome, including the Arc of Constantine_, the Palace Gardens at Quirinale_, and the View from Mount Gianicolo. They are rendered in vibrant tonalities and detailed linework. They are all signed in plate to the lower right corner. They are titled in plate to the lower margin in French and Italian. Published by Bernard Picture Co., New York City. They are presented loose without mat or frame.

Condition

- to fair; foxing to paper; toning to paper; wear and tearing to edges of paper; Arc of Constantine contains a one inch tear to the bottom left edge; minor creases to paper.
