Antique Indian Agra Carpet Runner

Item Details

A hand woven antique Indian Agra carpet runner cut down from a larger area rug. The runner has a portion of a light blue central medallion on a gold field. There are spandrel sections in the same light blue with navy scrolls. The entire carpet is filled with floral Arabesque designs. The rug is finished with tied selvage on the two ends and the sides are unfinished.

Condition

cut down from larger area rug, with ends of runner being sides of original rug
small stain in golden ground near one end.
