Copeland Spode "Buttercup" China
Item Details
An eleven piece grouping of Copeland Spode china in the Buttercup pattern. The china features transferware decoration with yellow buttercups, having embossed basketweave borders and scalloped edges. The group includes eight luncheon plates, a large rim soup bowl, and two coupe cereal bowls. The soup bowl and luncheon plates are stamped to the underside with the ‘2/7873 Copeland Spode England Buttercup’ back stamp, and the coupe cereal bowls are marked ‘Spode England 2/7873 H Buttercup from a Spode Design C. 1895.’
Condition
- with some crazing to glaze and utensil marks.
