An oil painting of a sailing ship by artist C. Willis. This painting depicts a large sailing ship with a multitude of sails. This composition was boldly executed with large thick strokes of paint and expressive color. The background is an expressive blend of yellow, orange, blue, and purple. This piece is signed in red to the lower right. The painting is presented in a carved wood frame with a linen liner.

- the canvas is somewhat loose in the frame. Several corners of the frame are separating.
