1882 Dominick & Haff Sterling Silver Chocolate Pot
Item Details
A sterling silver chocolate pot by Dominick & Haff of New York, NY (active 1872-1925). This piece features a vase-shaped body with channel decoration around the base. It is topped by a hinged lid with finial handle and has a wooden handle to one side. The chocolate pot has a personalized engraving to one side, and it is stamped to the underside ‘Sterling’ and ‘185’ along with the Dominick & Haff mark of ‘925’ in a cartouche, a circle, and a diamond around the date ‘1882’. The approximate weight including of non-sterling material is 11.025 ozt.
