An a la poupée etching with aquatint on paper of a street scene, with a handwritten poem by Italian writer Gabriele D’Annunzio (1863 – 1938). This realistic piece presents a view of an alley in one point perspective, printed in vibrant colors to heighten the sense of light and shadow in the scene. It is signed in pencil to the lower right of the circular composition, appearing to read ‘Manoni’. The poem is written in pencil beneath the image. This print is presented under glass in a brown wood frame without hanging hardware.

- stains to edges of paper; chip to frame at lower right corner; overall marks, scratches, and wear to frame.
