Item Details

A mixed media lath art work in wood by artist Theodore De Groot and Austin Productions. The item is made up of carved and painted pieces of cut wood; it depicts a jointed doll wearing a bicorne style hat. The item includes painted accents in muted hues of brown, cream and blue. It is signed with an incised mark of ‘degroot’ to the lower left. The piece is presented without glass in a rustic wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. The frame is marked ‘Lath Art, Austin’ to the backing.
