A large selection of 1944 World War II Sad Sack soldier comic newspaper cut-outs. There is a copyright date of 1944 on many of the cut-outs. Sad Sack was created by artists George Baker. Each comic scene has a title such as ‘The Physical,’ ‘Released From Active Duty,’ ‘Orders,’ ‘K.P,’ ‘Pistol Practice,’ ‘Inspection,’ and others. There are approximately one hundred loose comic cut outs that focus on World War II life in the military.
Condition
- the newspaper comic cut outs were hand cut from the newspaper. Edge and surface wear with soft corners.
