An oil painting on canvas of a harvest landscape by well-listed artist Trevor James (20th century). This Impressionist style painting depicts a pair of figures harvesting crops within a rolling, pastoral field, with wooden lodges to the distance obscured by full trees. The textural painting is primarily rendered with earthen tones, and is covered with a varnish. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a stained and brass tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
