An original oil painting on canvas by Austrian artist Emanuel Embler (b.1894). The work features birch trees surrounding a small pond with hills and blue sky to the background. It is rendered in a naturalistic palette with blue and green overtones. Signed to the lower right corner and presented with a gold brushed distressed wood frame. Wire to verso for hanging.
