Item Details
A collection of eight vintage carved and upholstered dining chairs. These dark stained wood chairs feature an arched carved top rail with scroll and foliate detailing, acanthus detailing on the arms and knees, with shell and foliate detailing on the chair apron. Chairs feature carved cabriole legs on whorl feet, with a serpentine stretcher. Chairs are upholstered in a bold fruit and hibiscus fabric on a black field. Chairs include two captain armchairs and six armless chairs. Unmarked.
