A hand-painted writing desk with leather inlay. This rectangular top piece features a black leather writing pad inlay and wood stain frame. The top overhangs three aligned drawers with brass handles and a hand-painted floral motif. The desk rises on sabre legs joined by a serpentine front apron. There are no visible maker’s marks.
