An oil painting on board of a winter landscape by artist R.M. Hahn. This painting depicts a winter scene on a farm. A snow covered road leads the eye to a farmstead consisting of a farm house and two out buildings. A warm glow of candle light shines through the lower windows of the farmhouse. Painted in the impressionist style with thick paint and expressive color. Signed and dated (1-50) to the lower right. The frame is constricted of carved wood painted a silver tone. The paint on the frame is faded and scraped in several places. The silver tone paint has been stripped away entirely from the upper edge of the frame. To the verso, wired to hang.
