William and Mary Style Sideboard

Item Details

A William and Mary style sideboard. The sideboard has two stacked drawers in the center of two cabinets, raised on trumpet legs connected by a serpentine H-stretcher. The drawers have a bookmatched crotch burl veneer, with two brass drop bell pulls on foliate plates; the top drawer has a center divider. The cabinet doors have a raised center panel with burl veneer, bordered by deep incised lines with filigreed inlays at the corners; they have pulls matching the drawers. The scalloped apron is pierced with filigree design.
