Vintage Stromberg-Carlson Candlestick Rotary Telephone

Item Details

A vintage Stromberg-Carlson candlestick telephone, black Bakelite with a round base with brass trim, and a straight column with a mouthpiece in polished brass and black Bakelite; a brass bracket at the side holds an earpiece. The telephone has a steel rotary dial with a white plate and black Arabic numerals. The center of the dial is labeled ‘The North Electric Mfg. Co. – Remove Receiver Before Calling’. The telephone is marked ‘Stromberg-Carlson Telephone Mfg. Co. – Rochester, New York U.S.A.’ and it comes with the original brown cloth cord.
