Kort Oil Painting on Canvas "Landscape"
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas, titled Landscape, signed by German-born painter Kort (born 1928). This work, rendered with creative brushwork and thoughtful blending, depicts a glassy pond beyond which two thick lines of trees can be seen. A cloudy sky is visible to the distance. This piece is signed to its lower right, and is presented in a carved gold tone frame with a greenish liner and a wire for hanging. There are a pair of labels from W. T. Burger Co. noting the artist’s name present to the verso.

- fair; light wear to frame finish; toning to verso of canvas; staining to paper backing; torn paper backing.
