Antique Silver Sterling Gorham Plate
Item Details
An antique sterling silver plate by Gorham. This scalloped dish features a wide rim with ornate scrollwork trim in relief to the edges. The plate is stamped with Gorham hallmarks to the underside representing a lion, anchor, and a Gothic letter ‘G’ along with the pattern number of 9309. This mark was used during the last quarter of the 19th century. The total approximate weight is 10.090 ozt.
Condition
- heavy oxidation and tarnish; some marks to the surface; dent near the middle of the plate.
