Hutschenreuther Selb Porcelain Dinnerware, Set of Twelve

A collection of gold tone and cream porcelain dinnerware marked Hutschenreuther of Selb. The dinnerware pattern is designed with a gold tone abstract floral over a matte cream base. The set includes twelve dinner plates, twelve salad plates, twelve bread and butter plates, twelve fruit bowls, twelve soup bowls, eleven teacups, and twelve saucers. This set is a set of twelve place settings, but is missing one teacup. This dinnerware set includes two different hallmarks. The dinnerware, except the soup bowls, include a green printed hallmark ‘Royal Bavarian, an oval with a crown above, and lion and china, and Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria below.’ The soup bowls include a green printed hallmark ‘Hutschenreuther of Selb, oval with a lion and LHS, and Bavaria below.’ This marked used by Hutschenreuter between 1925 – 1939.
