A set of Frank Lloyd Wright mugs designed by Tiffany & Co. This set includes four gilded mugs by Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation designed for Tiffany & Co. in the Imperial pattern. The undersie of the mugs are marked, ‘Imperial For Tiffany & Co. 1992 F L Wright FDN Japan.’ Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was a world famous American architect and interior designer who was known for his organic and clean cut line designs, such as Fallingwater house. Tiffany & Co. drew from his creative concepts when designing the 1992 Imperial coffee mugs, with a sleek and minimalistic gold painted rim around the lip and handle and a multi-tone golden cube design.
