An offset lithograph reproduction on paper after the original 1949 tempera painting titled Figures and Dog in Front of the Sun by the well-listed, historically renowned and prolific Spanish Surrealist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983). This abstract print made of lines and featuring a red, blue, black and green palette depicts a pair of figures and their dog surrounding the sun. Mounted under a triple layer of red, white and green matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes is present to the verso. Miró is best known for his abstract curvilinear paintings.
Condition
- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish.
