Hand Thrown Stoneware Planters
Item Details
A selection of hand thrown stoneware planters. The smallest has been pit fired and has a freeform, rounded form and fiber braid inserted into one side, showing carbon trapping form the firing environment. The largest is a porcelain clay body with a deep, chocolate brown matte glaze to the lower half. Also included is a wide mouth planter with a deep copper black matte slip glaze application and gestural incised line decoration. They are unmarked.
Condition
- black discoloration to interiors; some chipping noted and discoloration. Fiber braid is damaged.
